Steven King is the Distinguished Professor of Innovation and Emerging Technologies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, holding a joint appointment with the Hussman School of Journalism and Media and Kenan-Flagler Business School. He combines computer science concepts, human-centered design and storytelling to create new ways to present information through emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and other interactive media forms. Steven is the CEO of Blue Sky Robotics, which leverages computer vision and robotics to solve difficult problems in the supply chain, manufacturing, and hospitality industries.

Jami Bond, CFE, brings more than 16 years’ experience in franchise marketing and franchise development to an exciting new role as franchise owner. She and her husband, Josh, are franchisees with Team Up Athletics in Kansas City. Previously, she served as vice president of franchise development at Goodcents. “My favorite part of my job was always helping franchisees launch their own businesses, and after a few years, I decided it was my turn to follow my passion and become an entrepreneur myself,” she says. At OneUnited, Erin is responsible for increasing customer engagement and enhancing new product innovation. She spearheaded the expansion of the Bank’s ATM network to 100,000+ surcharge-free ATMs, the largest network in the country. During her time with Brinker, Robin served as the project leader for the Leadership Principles for Women Task Force, which she formed to help create “best in class” women’s leadership and mentorship programs. This collaborative effort earned Robin the Women’s Foodservice Forum Leadership Award, which is given each year to a woman executive in the foodservice industry who shows exceptional leadership qualities within her company and the industry at large, and whose professional growth and achievements are recognized through career advancement.
