ICX TOURS

The DFW area is home to many exciting venues with engaging interactive technology. Several have agreed to open their doors to ICX Summit attendees for in-depth tours. Attendees will be able to choose one of the following venues:

VENUES

Nebraska Furniture Mart

Featuring the largest selection of furniture, accessories, appliances, televisions, computers, carpet, area rugs, hard surface flooring and much more, the 560,000 square foot retail showroom features digital wayfinding, interactive screens and digital, dynamic price tags. The store has 700 tablets for sales staff to use as mobile point of sale.

Neiman Marcus

The newest location in Fort Worth is a 95,000-square-foot store with a range of high-tech features aimed at improving the shopping experience. The store includes a self-serve cosmetics department with Memory Makeover mirrors and tools that let shoppers keep digital videos of their makeovers.

Six Flags Over Texas

This 212-acre theme park is located in Arlington. On this tour, you will get a chance to check out Six Flags TV, an LED jumbotron, digital menu boards and a 3D ride, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis! Even though the park is large, most of the tour will be concentrated to one area.

Texas Motor Speedway

Located in Fort Worth, this is the premier motorsports facility in Texas hosting IndyCar, NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Truck series races. A majority of the tour will focus on Big Hoss TV, the world’s largest HD screen as certified by Guinness Book of World Records. Then participants will tour a private luxury suite overlooking the entire speedway to get a bird’s eye view of the facility elements that incorporate the speedway’s 1,500 acres. To cap it off, we will stop by Buc-ee’s, a Texas-sized convenience store with over 60,000 square feet of snacks & drinks, plus eclectic, Texas-themed T-shirts & knickknacks.
