ICX Tours

The DFW area is home to many exciting venues with engaging interactive technology. Several have agreed to open their doors to ICX Summit attendees for in-depth tours. Attendees will be able to choose one of the following venues:

ATT-stadium

AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys)

Sports fans won’t want to miss this tour. The 80,000-seat stadium features the world’s fourth-largest high definition video screen, which hangs from 20-yard line to 20-yard line. During the tour, you’ll visit a private suite, press box, the field, the post-game interview room and both the Cowboys locker room and the Cheerleaders locker room.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Five floors house 11 permanent exhibit halls containing state-of-the-art video and 3D computer animation with thrilling, life-like simulations where visitors can exercise their brains through hands-on activities, interactive kiosks and educational games. The extraordinary building and outdoor space serves as a living science lesson, offering provocative illustrations of engineering, technology and conservation. The tour will be led by the museum’s CIO.

Nebraska Furniture Mart

Featuring the largest selection of furniture, accessories, appliances, televisions, computers, carpet, area rugs, hard surface flooring and much more, the 560,000 square foot retail showroom features digital wayfinding, interactive screens and digital, dynamic price tags. The store has 700 tablets for sales staff to use as mobile point of sale. The tour will be led by Lee Summers, Manager, Marketing & Technology, who is also one of the summit’s speakers.

George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum

With its state-of-the-art interactive exhibits, the Presidential Library and Museum will give you an in-depth look at 8 years of American history, the American Presidency, and important issues of public policy. The Museum features the Decision Points Theater, Sept. 11 Display, a full-size replica of the White House Oval Office, and a 20-foot-tall, 360-degree, video wall with a montage of the 44 U.S. Presidents. The tour will be largely self guided, but directed by an exhibit specialist, who will facilitate a technology Q&A at the end.
