About 15 years ago, it seemed like kiosks were the technology solution for every challenge or opportunity. Fast forward several years and it appeared mobile was the universal solution. Now we realize that consumers won’t always download your app or use your kiosk.

This session will help identify when kiosks are the right solution and will look at case studies of kiosk success and lessons learned from trial and error.

Jason Raymer is a seasoned sales and operations manager, leader and strategist. He is no stranger to the fast pace world of the mobile industry, having spent the past six years at Bluegrass Cellular, a leading wireless carrier in Central Kentucky. As the Director of Sales, he is intimately familiar with all aspects of operations from sales to gross revenue. Jason has a great understanding for carrying the company’s profit and loss responsibility all while working to lower cost. He specializes in enhancing the company’s leadership development by instilling performance management and development programs. He has also driven to improve employee relations through corporate involvement and building solid incentive programs.

Jarred Smith | Manager of Digital Experience | Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores

Jarred Smith leads the Digital Experience team and initiatives for Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in their more than 450 retail locations in North America. His background of graphic design, web development, video production and training and development help bring a new perspective to user engagement for retail digital experiences. He has led the way to expand Love’s Travel Stop’s digital footprint to include a vast digital signage network and interactive touch kiosk infrastructure in their coast to coast convenience store network.

Jeff Pinc is Director of Food Service Solutions for Panasonic System Communications Company, a division of Panasonic Corporation. PSCNA delivers content creation, collaboration, information-sharing and decision-support solutions for customers in food service, retail, government, healthcare and education. Jeff has over 15 years of experience in providing cutting edge food service technology solutions with a variety of technology companies. He joined Panasonic in 2014 after previously working for MICROS Systems. As vice president of sales and strategies at MICROS Systems, he led many major projects resulting in large scale technology deployments, helping many global restaurant brands achieve a high return on investment.
