Mark Garcia is the Director, Operations Systems for AMC Theatres. With over 30 years’ experience in theatre operations, his role is to share the operations perspective with AMC’s IT team as they identify and implement technologies and to develop best practices around those technologies that enhance the guests’ experience and improve associate efficiency. A long-time innovator in the motion picture exhibition industry, AMC Theatres has integrated self-service kiosks into the existing box office with an improved UX to provide guests with control over their own ticket buying experience in theatres. This year, AMC became the first theatre chain to introduce cash enabled self-service ticketing kiosks.
